About the finishes:
Natural Finish (NF)- This is how the bare metal looks directly following its heat treatment. It is naturally streaked and smudged and considered ugly by some, but it is a few dollars less in price. It is a good choice for high-use applications like rental departments, schools and resorts.
Brushed No Coat (BNC) - The cylinder is spun underneath a belt sander giving it a shiny “brushed” finish.
